There are step by step instructions on how to attempt to repair damaged files in ZIPGym
(You tried to run ZIPGym and you see the message telling you that you have a "Damaged" File)
The reason you are here is most likely the fact that when you tried to use ZIPGym you got a strange message telling you that some files were DAMAGED! Now what?
1) You will need to make note of the name or names of the files that ZIPGym tells you are Damaged.
- After making note of the file or file names that are damaged we are ready for the next step: Determine what type of ZIPGym files you are using.
- In order to repair your damaged file(s) we first must determine if you are using the Runtime version of ZIPGym or the FileMaker Pro Version of ZIPGym. How do you know which you are using, you ask?
2) Using the tips below, determine which version of ZIPGym you are using—Runtime or FileMaker Pro.
3) Once you have determined which version of ZIPGym you are on your way to fixing your problem.
FileMaker Pro users
If you use ZIPGym on a network (more than one computer can run ZIPGym at the same time and you are all working with the same files) — then you are using the FileMaker Pro version. If you see the taskbar button (on a PC) labeled "FileMaker Pro" when you are using ZIPGym then you are using the FileMaker Pro version. If in your ZIPGym folder, your files have a PC extention of ".fpX" where X is a number like 5 (Billing.fp5) — then you are using the FileMaker Pro version. ZIPGym Runtime users
If you see the taskbar button (on a PC) labeled "ZIPGym" with a little yellow & blue folder icon when you are using ZIPGym then you are using the Runtime version. If in your ZIPGym folder, your files have a PC extention of ".usr" (Billing.usr) — then you are using the Runtime version. Click here to see how to repair your Runtime software.
