FileMaker Pro Damaged File Recovery Steps
  1. If you are not already in ZIPGym open it now. On any screen in any file of ZIPGym you can go to the recover command. Click on File in the upper left of you screen and choose Recover from the pop up menu.

  2. A menu will appear asking you to select the file that needs to be recovered. Find the file you need in the list and Double-Click on it.

  3. The file will appear and have the word "Recovered" attached. Click Save in the dialog box.

  4. FileMaker will recover the file and show you a window (message) regarding the recovery of the file. Click OK in this message window.

  5. Now EXIT ZIPGym (File/Exit) and go to the folder on your computer that contains all the ZIPGym files. You might have to do some searching, but there will be a "Classes" file (in this example) and a "Classes Recovered" file. Delete the "Classes" file by clicking on it and hitting your Delete key. Send it to your Recycle Bin.

  6. You're almost done. You now need to rename the recovered file so that ZIPGym will recognize it. To do this you RIGHT-CLICK on the "recovered" file ("Classes Recovered"). A pop-up menu will appear. Now LEFT-CLICK on "Rename". Rename the file by removing the word "Recovered" and the space between the file name and the word "Recovered". (You may need to include ".fp5" if your other files have this file extension.)

That's it, you're done. You will need to repeat these steps (1-6) for each file that is damaged. You can now open ZIPGym just like you normally do, and it should work just fine.
